The 26th Presidential Export Awards Ceremony, aimed to recognize best exporters in Sri Lanka, will be held on 7th February 2025 with the sponsorship of Sampath Bank PLC as the Platinum Sponsor. Further DFCC Bank PLC and the Sri Lanka Export Credit Insurance Corporation (SLECIC) will be the Silver Sponsors of the event. These sponsors have joined hands with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) to support the event.
The sponsorship cheque was symbolically handed over to the Chairman /CEO of the EDB, Mr. Mangala Wijesinghe, by the Mr Amal Kirihene - Senior Deputy General Manager - Corporate Banking, Sampath Bank PLC as Platinum Sponsor at the EDB recently.

The Presidential Export Awards (PEA) is the highest honor an exporter can receive in Sri Lanka. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place on Friday, 7th February 2025, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).
This year’s ceremony will be held under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Anura Kumara Dissanayake, President of Sri Lanka to recognize the top exporters who have shown exceptional progress in the export sector during the 2023/24 financial year. 14 overall awards and 51 product and service sector awards will be presented to the most outstanding exporter during the event.
The sponsorships by Sampath Bank PLC, DFCC Bank PLC, and SLECIC, along with their institutional collaboration, have been immensely helpful in ensuring the success of the event. Their involvement reflects a dedicated commitment to elevating Sri Lanka’s export industry.
