The EDB has organized a two day Seminar for Development Officers and Regional Officers of the EDB on 3rd and 4th July 2019 at the 3rd-floor auditorium of the EDB with the participation of 60 participants Under the National Export Strategy.
The main objective of this program are to gain knowledge on the below subject and to disseminate that knowledge to the regional SME’s. Implement a targeted capacity building programme for SMEs and exporters to efficiently use information and promotion services, Build the capacity of SMEs and emerging exporters to collect and analyse trade information and conduct export promotion.
This seminar covered areas of Customs Import Procedures, Trans-Shipment, Bonds Procedures, Inward Processing & Entrepot Trade, Customs Refunds & Drawbacks, Customs Export Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and System Certification Process, Product Certification Process (SLS Standards), Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) and System Certification Process - Introduction of DOC and TIP
