The regional seminar of the 3rdquarter of the year organized by Sri Lanka Association of Printers (SLAP) was held on Saturday, 18th August 2018, at “Saketha MeduraHotel”, Gampaha. The seminar was a huge success and over 60 printersin medium and small enterprise categories, in Gampaha district and over 50 youth who were interested in joining the printing industry attended seminar.
The 15th Exporters’ Forum chaired by State Minister of International Trade Sujeewa Senasinghe was held on Tuesday 14 August at the EDB Auditorium.

The EDB in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Rubber Products (SLAMERP) and Plastic and Rubber Institute of Sri Lanka (PRISL) organised a two-day workshop from 13 to 14 July on product innovation, technology and R&D to upgrade the knowledge of the tyre manufacturers/exporters by obtaining the services of international technical experts.
The EDB organized a one hour Panel discussion with Madam Arancha Gonzalez - Executive Director/International Trade Centre, Geneva on “Which Way are Trade Winds Blowing? – Current and Future International Trade Scenario” on Friday 20th July 2018 from 9.00 am to 10.00 am at the Lotus Room at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) for around 200 participants from the public & private sector stakeholders.
