Visit Sri Lanka Country Pavilion at the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO)

The EDB in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Consulate General in Guangzhou is organizing a Sri Lanka Pavilion at 14th China- ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) to be held from 12th to 15th September 2017 in Nanning, Guangxi. We’re keen to have Sri Lankan exporters participate in CAEXPO as it’ll avail us a huge opportunity to promote Sri Lanka’s export products in China as well as in the 10 ASEAN countries (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) member countries namely, Australia, China, Japan, Korea, India, New Zealand.

CAEXPO 2017

Co-sponsored by ministries/department of commerce or industry and trade of China and the 10 ASEAN member states as well as the ASEAN Secretariat, and organized by the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, CAEXPO 2017 will be held at the Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center (NICEC) Having been successfully concluded for 13 sessions so far, the CAEXPO has  blossomed into an event of special international influence and plays a significant role in promoting the China-ASEAN friendly co-operation and building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.

The 14th CAEXPO will turn the spotlight on innovation-driven development, promoting export of high-end equipment with advanced technology and high added value and relevant services, to upgrade industrial capacity co-operation between China and ASEAN countries and achieve co-ordinated development among countries along the Belt and Road routes. The 14th CAEXPO will cover an area of 122,000 sq.metre, where larger exhibition space and supporting facilities and services of high quality will be provided to Chinese and ASEAN enterprises. 

Sri Lanka Country Pavilion with 30 company Stalls & Trade Forum

As usual, Sri Lanka Export Development Board is organizing Sri Lanka country pavilion across a space of 36 sq.metre where special products of Sri Lanka will be displayed for four days. 30 export companies from Sri Lanka will exhibit their products at the CAEXPO. Aside from that, we’ll also organize a one day ‘Sri Lanka Business Forum’ to promote Trade, Tourism and Investment.
