Personal Protective Equipment
As the world battles to slow the spread of new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic across the world, Sri Lankan manufacturers and suppliers of medical personal protective equipment (PPEs) have risen up to the challenge of providing frontline workers engaged with battling the pandemic with the right safety equipment.
While Sri Lanka had an active personal protective equipment manufacturing industry, governed mainly by global players, who manufactured PPEs for medical, chemical, electrical, electronic and construction industries, the country’s manufacturing capacity has been bolstered by the participation of leading players in apparel and rubber industries.
