THE MONTESSORI WORKSHOP PVT LTD

Maria Montessori was personally responsible for inspiring and influencing the establishment of the Montessori method in Sri Lanka. Her time in South India provided her an opportunity to visit Sri Lanka (then known as Ceylon) together with her son Mario In 1944 and established the first Montessori school in August of that year which was named the Good Shepherd Maria Montessori Training Center.
