GEC was founded by a team of teachers who believe in global citizenship and education equity. Schools are often under-resourced with overworked or non-subject specialist teachers, making the provision of targeted personalised intervention a challenge. That's where we come in. Global EdTech Company launched 'MathsClub' in Australia in 2020 to help their students access targeted education, whilst supporting them to become global citizens.
Our tutor community is the backbone of GEC. Our Tutor Operations was established in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and our diverse community members tutor online from provinces across the country, allowing them to work flexibly and remotely to suit their own lifestyle. Working with GEC Lanka is an opportunity for Sri Lankans to develop themselves professionally and personally; enriching their skill set including English communication, teaching/coaching skills and global citizenship.
