Foreign Placement Coordinating Centre

The Foreign Placement Coordinating Centre (FPCC) was established in the context of knowledge economy, in collaboration with the Government Medical Officers� Association (GMOA), Ministry of Health and Ministry of Finance in the year 1997, under the patronage of Mr Lalith Weerathunga , Secretary to HE the president; Dr.P.B.Jayasundara, Secretary, Ministry of Finance and Dr.Athula Kahandaliyanage, Secretary , Ministry of Health. Sri Lanka is currently making a gradual and promising entry to Global Knowledge Economy as the Nation�s sectorial composition is changing to one determined by the service based economy.
