Sri Lanka Country Pavilion at Foodex Japan 2026

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) is organizing a National Pavilion at the Foodex 2026 International Food and Beverage Exhibition, from 10th to 13th March, 2026 in Tokyo, Japan
The Foodex Japan is considered as the Asia’s one of the oldest and the largest food and beverage trade show that provides an opportunity for producers, exporters and buyers to meet at a single place to exchange expertise in business, knowledge and technology. The objective of organizing a National Pavilion is to enable Sri Lankan companies to display and promote certified products mainly in the Japan and Asian region, and to study new trends in the international market.
Further, a pre fair promotion event parallel to the trade fair will be organized from 7th to 9th March 2026 with the intention of promoting Sri Lankan agri products, participating companies and giving market exposure to the representatives of those companies.
Sri Lankan agriculture product processors/exporters, who adhere to the international food standards (Specially JAS/ISO/HACCP) with adequate supply capacity to cater to the international market under the following product categories will be representing the National Pavilion at the Foodex 2026 International Food and Beverage Exhibition.
• Spice & spice mixtures, spice seasoning, spice in gift packs, food ingredients, instant spice preparation, herbal beverages and PGI certified Ceylon Cinnamon products
• Processed food (frozen, dehydrated & preserved fruits & vegetables, fruit juices, canned & bottled products)
• Coconut based products (desiccated coconuts, coconut milk, cream & powder, coconut/king coconut water, flavoured coconut chips etc.)
• Confectionery & bakery products, specialty convenient food products, cereal & cereal-based products, food for health, food supplements
• Sea food and aquaculture products.
